Meet Mrs. Marsh
I am so excited to be returning to Schnecksville Elementary School as a learning support teacher this school year! I am a graduate of the Parkland School District and even was a Schnecksville Shark from kindergarten through fifth grade. I attended Penn State University (WE ARE...!) where I graduated in 2012 with my Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, which allowed me to become certified to teach grades kindergarten through sixth. After graduating, I taught kindergarten and second grade. I then began attending graduate school, at Cedar Crest College, where I earned my special education certification and Masters of Education. After this time, I was a K-2 Emotional Support teacher where I not only taught social skills and supported socio-emotional development, but I also provided pull out and push in support for math and reading instruction and taught utilizing various reading intervention curriculum. After that, I was hired to teach learning support at Schnecksville! The past two years, I have been the kindergarten and fourth grade learning support teacher at Schnecksville Elementary School. This year, I will be the kindergarten and fifth grade learning support teacher, which I am very excited about!
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants with my husband, Alex!
Let's make 2018-2019 the best school year yet!
